Ricky Thomas CAMP

CAMP, Ricky Thomas - Age 52, of Flint, died April 20, 2010 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Friday, April 23 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Pastor Martin B. Watkins officiating. Visitation will be 2-4PM and 6-8PM Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contirbutions to the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church or to the Family. Mr. Camp was born January 15, 1958 in Flint, the son Thomas Jr. and Margaret (Markley) Camp. He married Mary J. Mallard June 25, 1977 in Flint. Ricky owned and operated Durand Transmission, Inc. since 2004. He was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Ricky had a great love for cars and enjoyed NASCAR and hunting. Surviving are: wife, Mary of Flint; daughter, Alisha (Brandon) Higgerson of Flint; son, Christopher (Katy) Camp of Flint; 4 grandchildren, Olivia, Collin, Conner, Kane; Mother Margaret Camp of Turner; 3 brothers, Larry (Priscilla) Camp of Oscoda, Bill Camp of Flint, Terry (Rhonda) Camp of Whittamore; 2 sisters, Mary (Elaine) Kimbler of National City, Sherry (Lloyd) Brigham of Turner; Many nieces and nephews; Father and Mother-in-law, Fred (Marcella) Mallard of Corunna.
