Dewar, Rick (Richard) -- Age 71, of Fenton, died June 17, 2019. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, June 21, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Thursday, June 20 at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Richard Dewar Memorial Fund c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Richard was born April 5, 1948 in Flint, the son of Lyle and Nora (Evens) Dewar. He married Linda Lockwood on September 20, 1969 in Hartland. He worked in sales his entire life. His favorite place was Up North at the cottage. He was an avid Michigan State Spartan Fan. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda Dewar; three children Greg Dewar (Heidi) of Howell, Cindy Metz (John Cipolla) of Hartland, and Monica Stamos (Brian Moore) of Flint Township, ten grandchildren, Ashley, Melissa, Matthew, Evan, Bella, Gracey, Mike, Sophia, Tessa, and Roman; sister-in-law, Nancy Dewar; special niece, Katy and special nephew, Casey; life-long best friend Jim Middleton; and special cousin Al Dewar.
