Rick Evan DEACON

DEACON, Rick Evan, age 49, of Hartland, passed away on May 6, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. Adored husband of Teresa; loving father of Jessica (Anthony) Stambersky and Mindy (Nicholas) Snell; joyous grandfather of Deacon and Dezmon Stambersky and Jaden Snell; son-in-law of Charlene Whitney of Houston, TX; brother of Brad (Karen) Deacon of West Palm Beach, FL, and Scott (Deborah) Deacon of Ada, MI; uncle to Emily (Kurt) Sperfslage of Vero Beach, FL, Melissa Deacon of Scottsdale, AZ and Jill Deacon of Ada, MI. Rick was born January 28, 1960 in Detroit, the son of the late Gordon and Betty Ann (Trott) Deacon. He married Teresa Barrow October 17, 1981 in Houston, Texas. In 2004 with his family and friends Rick succeeded in his lifelong dream to own a laser / fabricating business, Superb Fabricating in Milford, MI. He was an avid golfer and a was a very lucky guy at the casino. He will be forever loved and be sorely missed by all of us who knew and loved him. Services will be 3:00PM Sunday, May 17, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. The family will receive friends 1PM Sunday until time of service at the funeral home.
