KRITLOW, Richard William - Age 94, of Flint, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022. Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions to Catholic Charities of Genesee County.
Richard was born August 7, 1928 in Saginaw, the son of Robert and Helen (Crego) Kritlow. He lived 12 years in Chesaning and then moved to the Flint area. He was a 1946 graduate of Flint Central High School and he attended Flint Junior College. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Richard married Dorothy Madden September 8, 1951 in Flint. He owned and operated a State Farm Insurance Agency for 37 years. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Richard enjoyed bowing, golfing, gardening and ice skating.
Surviving are: his wife of 71 years, Dorothy; daughters, Deborah Wentz, Nancy (Rick) Butler, Susan (Mark) Kritlow-Miller, Janet Kritlow and Kathy Haney; son-in-law, Greg Howard; and 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Richard Mark Kritlow; daughter, Patricia Howard; grandson, Jackson Kritlow; sister and brother-in-law, Helen Margaret (Sven) Forsmark; and brother, Edward Kritlow.
