Richard Shock

SHOCK, Richard Kenneth - age 74, of Swartz Creek, died January 2, 2022. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Friday, January 7, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, mI 48473. Interment will follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11 AM - 2 PM Friday at the funeral home. Richard was born January 16, 1947 in Jersey City, NJ, the son of John and Beverly (Kingsbury) Shock. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Richard married Beverly Fortner on May 16, 1969. He retired from Buick Motor Company where he was a Millwright for many years. Richard enjoyed going to the casinos and collecting coins. Surviving are: wife, Beverly; four children, Jane (Benjamin) Peterson of Grand Blanc, Jennifer Shock of Durand, Jody (Paul) Botos of Durand, Rick (Rachel) Shock, Jr. of Grand Blanc; nine grandchildren, Ryan Shock, Meagan Ferris, Elizabeth Peterson, Allyson Botos, Andrew Peterson, Nickloas Botos, Mallory Botos, Madelyne Botos, and Molly Peterson; six great-grandchildren; sister, Ismah Pratt of Montrose.
