Richard A. Schabel

SCHABEL, Richard A.  Age 20, of Swartz Creek, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 17, 2006. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday, April 21, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel with Pastor Rick Flowers officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Wednesday and 11-2 and 4-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association. Richard was born February 21, 1986 in Flint, the son of Danny L. and Cindy L. (Ostrander) Schabel. Richard enjoyed playing with his dog, Knight, hanging out with his friends, playing cards, fishing, listening to music and collecting jerseys and hats. Richard leaves to cherish his memory: parents, Danny and Cindy Schabel of Swartz Creek; brother, Matt Schabel and fiancâ?se, Malynda Carlson of Gaines; grandfathers, Gordon Ostrander of Swartz Creek, Kenneth Schabel of Burton; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Richard was preceded in death by: grandmothers, Sally Ostrander in 1995 and Larraine Conklin in 2003.
