Richard Pepitone

Richard A. Pepitone II, age 31, of Swartz Creek, passed away as a result of a car fatality on Saturday, May 27, 2023. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023, at 3PM at Sharp Funeral Home - Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road in Swart Creek. Richard was born on August 14, 1991, to Richard & Melissa in Flint, Michigan. He graduated in 2009 from Mott Middle College. Richard was employed with BLM Group USA as a CNC Applications Technician. Richard was known for being a "handy man" around the house; he was a particular guy and wanted to make sure whatever he was fixing that he was doing it properly. The last several years Richard picked up golfing; he often would call his brother to join him for a round of golf. He was a grill master when it came to grilling steak and made them perfectly every single time. He was a bit of a car enthusiast and had a soft spot for old Chevy's and Pontiacs. Recently he enjoyed a kayak trip with his fiancée, Jessica and was proud dad to be to his little gymnastic star, Makenna. Above all he cherished time at home with his family and enjoyed the simple things in life.

Richard is survived by his fiancée, Jessica "Jess" DeMars and his daughter-to-be, Makenna DeMars; his four siblings, Tessa Danko, KC Danko, Kyle Danko and Joe (Allison) Danko; his Dad, John Danko; his grandma, Deborah VanEckhoutte, his niece, Brinlee and his dearest friends, Steven, Imran, Colton and Donald. Richard is further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other dear friends too numerous to list.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Richard & Melissa; grandfather, Ronald Yogi; Uncle Matt; brother-in-law, Jay and the mother of his niece Brinlee, Lauren.
