Richard A. OSTROWSKI

Ostrowski, Richard- age 92, of Byron, died Monday, March 19, 2012. Funeral mass will be celebrated 12:30 PM Saturday, March 24, 2102 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 600 North Adelaide Street, Fenton with Fr. David Harvey Celebrant. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemtery, Linden. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden, and at the church from 11:30 AM until the time of mass on Saturday. A vigil service will be held 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Mr. Ostrowski was born September 5, 1919 in Hamtramck, the son of the late Vincent and Eugenia (Strzelecki) Ostrowski. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served on the USS Trippe during WWII. He worked for American Standard Industrial Division in Dearborn. Richard is survived by his children, Michael Ostrowski, Suzanne Ostrowski-Dansel and Richard F. Ostrowski; 7 grandchildren; brother, Tommy Ostrowski. He is preceded in death by his wife, Anna and daughter, Marie DellaLucia.
