MYERS, Richard W. age 67, of Flint, went home to be with the Lord on August 26, 2014. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8183 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Michael Horne officiating. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Friday and 11AM until the time of service Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Richard was born February 6, 1947 in Flint, the son of Glenn and Dorothy (McDaniel) Myers. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy. He is survived by his wife, Charlene; children, Richard Glenn Myers, Doris Peoples, Donna Mitchell, Elizabeth Emory, Johnathon Myers; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sister, Gwen Hall; brother, Gary Myers.
