McDONALD, Richard Alan Jr., age 35, of Cheboygan, formerly of Grand Blanc, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011 in Cheboygan. Funeral Services will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00- 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Richard was born May 12, 1975 in Flint the son of Richard Alan McDonald Sr. and Vickie Lynn (McNeal) Alles. He graduated from Grand Blanc High School in 1994. Richard enjoyed hanging with friends, going to concerts, playing football, hunting and going out on the pontoon boat at his Dad's. He will be missed dearly and loved forever. Surviving are his mother, Vickie Alles (Gary) of Cheboygan; father, Richard A. McDonald Sr. (Valerie) of Fenton; grandfather, Robert McNeal (Donna) of Grand Blanc; step-sister, Tiffany Schwartz of Swartz Creek; step-brother, Aaron Alles of Flint; step nephew and nieces, Alexander, Alysa, Marissa; step-grandmother, Phyllis Johnson of Fenton; beloved pets, Chewie and Obi; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Beverly Benson-Williams, Edwin and Fern McDonald. Special thanks to Richard's best friends, Matt Granter and Elijah Wallace, for being there.
