Richard Lee LYON

Lyon, Richard Lee, age 39, of Swartz Creek, went to heaven to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Thursday, April 23, 2009. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Interment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 PM and Monday 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. Checks may be made payable to MMRF. Richard was born October 1, 1969 to Elizabeth (Kalmbach) and Richard Lyon of Zephyrhills, FL. He married his soul mate Bobbi (Buck) May 2, 2008. He was a graduate of Grand Blanc High School in 1988 and served 5 years in the U.S. Navy. Surviving are his wife, Bobbi, his parents, a brother Michael (Karie) Lyon, sister, Lisa (Fred) Davis, mother-in-law Kathy Buck, sister-in-laws Jenny and Maegan Buck, nieces and nephews, Jill (Paul) Webb, Erin Lyon, Derek Lyon, Jesse Mattson and great nephew Tristen Webb. Best friends Matt Budaj, Vito Zito, and Joe Harrison. Also his pets Sampson, Buster, and Cuddles.
