HITCHCOCK, Richard R. - Age 64, of Holly, died Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Those desiring may make contributions to Parkinson's Disease Foundation, Grace Hospice or Humane Society of Michigan. Richard was born March 11, 1947 in Ferndale, the son of Donald and Marjorie (Haight) Hitchcock. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force. He was a graduate of Wayne State University. Richard married Louise Renee Sternal October 22, 1994 in Plymouth. He retired from Michigan Bell (AT&T) after 30 years of service. He had resided in Holly since 2004 coming from Grand Blanc/Canton. Surviving are: wife, Louise; 2 sons, Richard Hitchcock, Jr. and wife Audie of Letts, IA and Jeffrey Hitchcock of Romulus; 5 grandchildren, Alex, Olivia, Jeffrey Jr., Robert Joseph and Charles; brother, Donald Hitchcock of Livonia.
