Richard Donald Hale, Sr.

HALE, Richard Donald, Sr. - Age 73, of Cathedral City, CA formerly of Grand Blanc, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025. Services will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Faith City Church, 806 Main St. Fenton. Pastor Andrew Barancik officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Adopt-A-Pet, 13575 Fenton Road, Fenton, MI 48430. 

Richard was born January 15, 1952 in Flint, the son of Robert and Shirley (Justin) Hale. He was a 1970 graduate of Grand Blanc High School. He had resided in Cathedral City, CA for the past 22 years coming from San Diego, CA/Grand Blanc. He owned and operated Bearwear in Palm Springs, CA. Richard enjoyed traveling (especially cruises), cocktail hour, football fan (San Diego Chargers), spending time with his friends and his dogs. 

Surviving are: his son, Richard (Michelle) Hale, Jr.; grandchildren, Trey Hale, Briana Hale and Liam Marquardt all of Fenton; siblings, Debbie (Michael) Robbins of Georgia, Douglas Hansen of St. Johns, Donald (Marjorie) Hansen of Charlotte, Doug (Leslie) Hansen of Harbor Beach, Sue (Dennis) Stach of Grand Blanc, Becky (Richard) Sterling of Midland and Pam (Tim) Kelly of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
