Richard Glomb, Sr.

GLOMB, Richard Kent, Sr. - age 67, of Fenton, died Thursday, February 26, 2009 at his residence. Services will be held 5 PM Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Tuesday and 3-5 PM Wednesday. Richard was born April 5, 1941 in Dearborn, the son of Godfery and Betty (Williams) Glomb and married Sondra Beckett. Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and had been employed by Chrysler Motors and retired from automotive supply sales. He was very active in the Corvette Club of Michigan where he served as president and social director. Surviving are: wife of 47 years, Sondra' two children, Candace and husband, Michael Jordan of Fenton; Richard Glomb, Jr. of Livonia; two grandchildren, Clare and Adam Glomb; brother, Edward Glomb of Commerce Twp.
