EDWARDS, Richard Harold - Age 78, of Durand and Lakeland, FL, formerly of Fenton, died October 13, 2018. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Fenton United Methodist Church, 119 S. Leroy St., Fenton. Pastor Jeff Jaggers will officiate. Entombment in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with a 7 PM Fenton Lions Memorial Service; and from 10 AM until the time of service Wednesday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society, Care Team Hospice or Fenton United Methodist Church. Richard was born November 19, 1939 in St. Louis, MO, the son of William Harvey and Louise Alberta (Parrett) Edwards. He married Carol Muzzy on October 7, 1961. Mr. Edwards was employed by General Motors and EDS for 45 years. He was a member of the Fenton Lions Club and Fenton United Methodist Church. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and spending winters in Florida. He is survived by his wife, Carol; children, Terri (Jeffrey) Post, Tracy (Timothy) Raymond, Toni (Lance) Horde, Timothy Edwards; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nephews, William Edwards; several cousins.
