Richard Dajos

DAJOS, Richard A. - age 56, of Linden, died Friday, December 5, 2008 at Genesys Hospice Care Center, surrounded by his family. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 6481 Faussett Rd., Howell with Fr. Gregg Pleiness celebrant. Visitation will be held 4-9 PM Sunday and 2-9 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. A scripture service will be held 7 PM Monday. Richard was born July 19, 1952 in Detroit, the son of Raymond and Maragaret (Kolongowski) Dajos. He married Cindy Wozniak on June 10, 1977. Richard retired from CXS Railroad and was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church for many years. Surviving are: wife, Cindy of Linden; five children, Joe Dajos with fiancee, Nicole McCormick, Rick Dajos, KC with husband, Nick Makela, Zac Dajos and Alyssa Dajos; three grandchildren, Brady, Audrey and Parker Makela; three brothers and three sisters also survive.
