Richard Craft

CRAFT, Richard Leon "Rick" -- Age 70, of Lennon, died August 15, 2021. Services will be held 6 PM Saturday August 28 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. A visitation will be 3-6 PM Saturday, August 28. Those desiring may make contributions to the Rick Craft Memorial Fund c/o Sharp Funeral Homes.

Rick was born May 13, 1951 in Owosso the son of Clifford Emery and Mary Rose (Thompson) Craft. Rick lived most of his life in Durand , Linden, and Byron areas, coming from California. He was a Horse Trainer and worked as a Parts Cutter at Durand Forms. He enjoyed training horses, and was a lifetime Nascar Fan and Sprint Car Racing Fan.

He is survived by daughter, Ronda (Aaron) Alejos of California; grandchildren, Dominique Alejos, Erin Angelina Alejos; daughter Wendy (Jason) McKenzie of California; grandchildren Lillie McKenzie, Christian McKenzie, Faithful Trinity McKenzie; his brothers, Chuck Craft of Owosso, Ron Craft of Lennon, Terry (Wendy) Greig of Durand, Don Greig; sister Judy (Chuck) White of Durand; nieces and nephews, Steve Goad, Heather Collins, Tad Greig, Brett Greig, and Devin Greig, Jamie (Eric) Brabant, Polanda Bennett, Scott (Jennifer) White, and Dan White.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Cindy Sember; nephews, Michael Greig and Ronnie White.
