Richard E. Coppler

COPPLER, Richard Earl  Age 69, of Linden, died Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at Genesys Health Park after a long battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, March 11, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Rev. Eugene Blankinship will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-9 PM Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to the family or Holly Reunion with a Cause(assistance for cancer patients through Genesys Health Foundation). Richard was born November 30, 1936 in Lapeer, the son of Mervin and Lena (Skiver) Coppler. He was a farmer, working with his father, until 1972. He then went to work for Teledyn Howell Penncraft (now SPS Howell Penncraft) and retired in December 2003. Surviving are: wife, Geraldine; two children, Richard Jr. and wife Vicky Coppler, Janice Kay Coppler and Daniel Adams; four grandchildren, Jacqulyn, Aaron, Andrew, Nicholas; brother, James; sisters, Barbara Fergerson and Delores Clark; several nieces and nephews.
