CAIN, Richard Kenneth, born on September 4, 1942 passed on January 5, 2020. He is preceded in death by; parents, Earl Richard Cain and Rena Judith Perugini and brother Howard John Cain. He is survived by; his loving wife, Karen Lee Cain of 56 years; son Kenneth (Jackie) Cain and grandson, Aiden Cain. He is also survived by nephew, Rod (Kathe) Cain, their son and daughter Aaron Cain and Megan Kelley; niece, Wendy Cain-Filipiak and sons Lance and Alex; sister-in-law, Kay Cain; aunt, Yolo Tessier; special cousin, Charyl (Bill) Sherwood and dear friends, Sandra and Dave Bacha, Don and Donna Rash as well as many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
Richard was a loving devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved to travel with his family, fish, go on cruises, bowling, golf and spend time with his family, who everyone knows was his pride and joy.
Richard was retired from General Motors as an engineer and was an active member of Buick Salaried Retirees Club as the corresponding secretary for many years. He was also a member of the Retired Men's Fellowship of Greater Flint.
Services will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek 48473, 2PM, Wednesday, January 8,2020. Visitation will take place from 3-8 PM Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Sunset Hill Cemetery following the service. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Richard Kenneth Cain's name to Swartz Creek Senior Center or American Cancer Society. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
