Richard Bruton

BRUTON, Richard Scott- Age 51, of Clayton Township, died April 3, 2017. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, April 7 at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Pastor Gary Curell officiating. Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 5-7 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the charity of one's choice. Richard was born February 21, 1966, in Flint, the son of Thomas and Martha (Schlosser) Bruton. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, card games, and rooting for U of M and the Detroit Lions. He is survived by his mother, Martha; sister, Diane (James Kreider) Dexel; brother, John (Leona Cooper) Bruton; niece, Cheyene Bruton; several aunts, uncles, cousins; dear friend, James "Chip" Van Camp. Richard was preceded in death by his father, Thomas L. Bruton Jr. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to hospice nurse, Stacy, nurse's aid, Cheryl, and special nurse, Sheila Ann, and many others.
