BREWER. Richard Allan -- Age 69, of Swartz Creek, died June 20, 2016. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday June 23 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Dr. Gerald Woodruff officiating. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Wednesday and 10 AM until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home. Richard was born February 6, 1947 in Flint the son of Delbert G.and Blanche Marie (Farver) Brewer. He was a 1974 graduate of Maranatha Baptist Bible College. He was Pastor of Northwoods Bible Fellowship Church from 1974-1981. Richard resided in Swartz Creek for 35 years. He married Betty Travis on November 1, 1969. He retired from Swartz Creek Community Schools. He was a member of the Motor City Packard Club. Richard loved his 1934 Packard. He loved hunting, fishing and old westerns. He loved his family. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Betty; daughter Kay and J.T. Brown of Fort Wayne, IN; grand children, Olivia, Violet, Cullen; siblings, Delbert (Joanne) Brewer, Janice Brewer, Sally (Gary) Papp, Carol (Rod) Cummings; many nieces and nephews.
