Rhonda Schumacher

Schumacher, Rhonda Rene (Qualls) - Age 56, of  Alba, Michigan, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 31, 2020. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later time. Private burial will be held at Dawn Memorial Cemetery, Lapeer. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center,  6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to a veterans organization of ones choice. Rhonda was born at St. Joseph Hospital in Flint on July 13, 1964. Rhonda worked at the VA in Saginaw as a Respiratory Therapist for many years. Rhonda will always be remembered for having the biggest heart, always caring for the needs of others above her own. She was always available to lend a helping hand at a moment's notice. Rhonda was and always will be a blessing to all those that knew her. She walked every day close with Christ. Rhonda held a deep respect for life and those who crossed it with her, her family and countless friends and associates. Rhonda loved to travel, Florida being her destination of choice. Being near and in the ocean always quenched her adventuresome nature. Rhonda was a lover of all nature and indulged herself in the sunlight of life. The first time you met Rhonda you were a friend and everyone was family after that. Rhonda will be sorrowfully missed and leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 30 years Mark Schumacher who she wed on October 20, 1990; her children, Nina Schumacher, Daric Thorne, Rocelle Robinson, and Jennifer Schumacher; seven grandchildren, who were the light of her life and always her first priority; siblings, Karen Christensen, Bruce (Susu) Qualls, Dennis (Georgena) Qualls, Phillip (Paula) Qualls; special niece and best friend Kelly Brooks; spiritual counselor and prayer warrior niece Maria Larson; and many nieces nephews; and cousins. Rhonda was preceded in death by her mother Rosemary Qualls; father Elmer D. Qualls; sister Brenda Robert; brother Ronald Qualls and cousin Harold Bevins.
