Reynold Frye

Frye , Reynold "Ron" - Age 71, of Swartz Creek, died December 10, 2015. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, December 14 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, Pastor Carol Blair Bouse officiating. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Saturday, and 1-8 PM Sunday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Swartz Creek Athletic Boosters or American Cancer Society. Ron was born September 10, 1944 in Flint the son of Charles H. and Anna E. (Jansen) Frye. He was a graduate of Flint Southwestern High School. He married Earlynn Anderson on July 20, 1963 in Flint. Ron retired from GM "Chevy in the Hole" in 2004 with 42.5 years of service. He was a proud union member. He was an avid supporter of Swartz Creek Sports programs and an avid golfer. Surviving are: wife of 52 years, Earlynn; sons, Keith (Audra) of Flint Township, Matthew (Sonia) of Swartz Creek; grand-son, Adam; niece Sharon (Al) Bronson; sister Lana; brother-in-law, Wayne Anderson; many nieces and nephews; extended family, Ken and Artha Rawlings, Penny and Dan Bachman, Mary and Jim Weeden, Don and Doreen Murray. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Charles Jr. and Vern; two sisters, Anna Pesik and Mert Webster. Tributes may be shared on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
