Reynaldo DeLeon

DeLEON, Reynaldo - Age 80, of Flint, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Monday, February 24, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed via Reynaldo's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Burial in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Reynaldo was born January 6, 1945 in Texas, the son of Cruz and Nolberta (Ortiz) DeLeon. He was a 1963 graduate of Flint Central High School. He married Frances Kay Mikels August 28, 1965 in Flint and she preceded him in death June 21, 2017.  He retired from Buick Powertrain V-6 Plant. Reynaldo was a member and Committeeman at U.A.W. Local #599. He enjoyed coaching baseball, softball, basketball and was an avid bowler. 

Surviving are: his children, Michael Ray (Heather Johnson) DeLeon, Eric John (Rebecca) DeLeon, Melissa Ann (Scott) Cregar and Gabriel Ryan (Jill) DeLeon; daughter-in-law, Jennifer DeLeon; 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; brothers, Gilbert (Dee Dee) DeLeon and Cruz (LeighAnn) DeLeon, Jr.; sister, Herminia (Raul) Gonzales; and many nieces and nephews.
