Rex C. Glover, Jr.

GLOVER, Rex C. Jr. -- Age 91, of Grand Blanc, formerly of Lake Fenton, died Saturday, January 6, 2007 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held 1:30 PM Wednesday, January 10 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Vistitation will be 4-8 PM Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the McLaren Hospital Auxiliary. Rex was born December 17, 1915 in Flint the son of Rex C. and Fleda (Mittan) Glover. He married Jean L. Fierstine on December 23, 1939 and she preceded him in death May 19, 1988. He then married June Brushaber on May 21, 1994. He retired from Buick in 1978 after many years of service in Skilled Trades, Tool and Die. He was a former member of the Fenton Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and most importantly loved the time spent on Lake Fenton. Surviving are: wife June; two sons, Robert Glover and wife Barbara of Fenton, David Glover and wife Sheila of Glennie; two grandchildren, Dawn and Shea Glover; three sisters, Orpha Brooks, Bea Haley, and Lois Passon.
