MADDEN, Reggie J. - age 74, of Linden, died June 13, 2019. A memorial service will be held 1 PM Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Lewy Body Dementia Association (www.lbda.org). Reggie was born May 26, 1945 in Goodrich. He was a graduate of Davison High School, where he played basketball, baseball and football. Reggie took great pride in Davison Athletics and was an all-star athlete. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from Delphi Corporation where he was a member of U.A.W. Local 651. Reggie was an avid softball player, playing in a senior league up until this last year. He also enjoyed playing basketball, even playing in the Army and was an avid bowler. Reggie enjoyed family, he was very active in his children and grandchildren's lives and enjoyed attending their activities and sporting events. Surviving are: wife, Pamela; three children, Shawn (David) Gorkiewicz, Travis Krueger (Missy Kom), and Reggie Madden II; two grandchildren, Zoe and Luke Gorkiewicz; brother, Gary Madden. Reggie was preceded in death by: his father, James Madden; mother, Norma Jean Perry, step-father, Jerry Perry; and sister, Darlona Madden. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
