ANDRINGA, Rebecca Lynn - Age 37, of Fenton, went to her heavenly home, Friday, February 12, 2010 at Genesys Hospice Care Center after a 4 1/2 year battle with Brain Cancer. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, with Pastor Mike Harris officiating. Burial in Ortonville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 4-7 PM and Monday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Rebecca Lynn Andringa Memorial Fund, C/o Sharp Funeral Home, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430. Rebecca was born August 1, 1972 in Pontiac, the daughter of Joseph and Susan (Oswald) Talbot. She was a 1990 graduate of Clarkston High School and 1995 graduate of Calvin College in Grand Rapids. She married William Andringa August 10, 1996 in Flint. Rebecca had been employed with the State Bank and was a substitute teacher for Linden, Fenton and Clarkston Schools. Surviving are: husband, William Brent; 2 children, Brent and Michelle Andringa; parents, Joseph and Susan Talbot of Clarkston; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Pete and Irene Andringa of Grandville; grandmothers, Mary Lou Oswald of East Lansing and Elizabeth Boersma of Visalia, CA; 2 sisters, Tina Talbot of Waterford and Beth and husband Jeff Mellis of Grand Blanc; 2 brothers-in-law, Ben and wife Sharon Andringa of Holland and Randy and wife Laura Andringa of Aledo, TX; sister-in-law, Mary and husband Doug Rottman of Byron Center; several nieces and nephews.
