Raymond Searles

SEARLES, Raymond Henry - Age 91, of Flint, died Monday, July 7, 2014. A private family graveside service will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Raymond was born January 9, 1923 in Mt. Pleasant the son of Frank and Nellie (Clare) Searles. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army. He married Geraldine B. Brown December 12, 1945 and she preceded him in death August 10, 2009. Ray owned and operated Searles Motors Sales on Davison Road in Burton for many years. Surviving are: 4 children, Joyce and husband Gary Parrish of Mt. Morris, Carol and husband Leo Bruman of Millington, Ruthann Jocham of Flint, and Becky and husband John Metcalf of Flint; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
