Raymond Schrader

SCHRADER, Raymond Dennis - Age 68, of Fenton, died Monday, February 15, 2021.  Public visitation will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 12 - 4 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.  Those desiring may make contributions to the American Lung Association.

Raymond was born March 15, 1952 in Chester, PA, the son of Carl Nelson Schrader, Jr. and Anna Jeanette Montgomery.  He was a 1970 graduate of Monroe Catholic Central High School where he was a shot put champion and played football. He was employed by Rockwell International (Meritor) as a metallurgist for 22 years and had recently been employed by Ford Motor Company as a Fuel Testing Engineer.  Raymond enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, boating, and bowling.

Surviving are: his children, Brandon Schrader of Grosse Pointe, Corey Schrader of Grosse Pointe, and Alisha and husband William Fohey II of Fenton; siblings, Carl Schrader of Jerome, Patricia Schave of Southgate, and Donna Schrader Perez of Brownstown; Alisha's mother, Linda Viik of Wayne; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
