PITMAN, Raymond Leslie "Bud"- Age 78, of Linden, died September 13, 2012. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Monday, September 17, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 9450 Duffield Rd, Gaines. Fr. Jeff Poll celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12-4 PM and 6-8 PM Sunday, with a scripture service at 7 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel. 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Visitation will also be from 9:30 AM until the time of mass Monday at church. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make donations to The Old Newsboys or St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gaines. Raymond was born July 24, 1934 in Flint, the son of John Leslie and Eunice (Deem) Pitman. He was married to Cecilia Ann Chaulklin on July 22, 1961 in Fenton. Mr. Pitman retired from General Motors with 38 years of service. Surviving are: wife, Cecilia; children, Bruce Pitman, Marty (Denise) Pitman, Jennifer (Rick) Miracle, Pamela (Bob) Wisniewski; eight grandchildren, Jordan (Shannon) Miller, Dustin (Kristin) Pitman, Michelle (Clint) Chambers, Shana Pitman, Travis Miller, Haley Miracle, Bobby Wisniewski and Nick Wisniewski; 1 great-granddaughter, Molly Pitman; sisters, Betty (Duane) Shepard, Susan (James) Briscoe; brother, Jack (Virginia) Pitman; sisters-in-law, Mary Dickinson and Veronica Hargrove; brother-in-law, Tony (Jill) Chaulklin; several nieces and nephews.
