LEPPERT, Raymond E.- Age 82, of Fenton, died Friday, March 20, 2015. Services will be held 12 PM Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Karl Barancik officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Faith City Church or the American Cancer Society. Raymond was born October 17, 1932 in Galion, Ohio, the son of Cyril Robert and Martha Lucille (Fabian) Leppert. He married Grace Leppert on February 4, 1961; she preceded him in death in March 1999. Ray was a veteran of the US Air Force, serving in the Korean War. He worked for Glidden Paint Co. for 27 years, Cotter & Co. for 15 and for the past 14 years had worked at the Coyote Preserve Golf Course. Ray was a past Chairman of Oakwood Cemetery Board, a member of Faith City Church and the City of Fenton Election Commissioner. He was an avid skydiver at the age of 74 and 77. Raymond is survived by his children, Kellie Leppert of Columbus, OH, Lincoln (Melanie) Leppert of Royal Oak, Cooper (Kim) Leppert of Saline; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, James Leppert of Galion, OH; many nieces and nephews.
