Raymond Landis

LANDIS, Raymond- age 82, of Swartz Creek, passed away August 14, 2021. Committal Service at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd, Holly, will be held 10 AM Monday October 4, 2021. Those desiring may make contributions to Michigan Concerns of Police Survivors at www.micops.com/donate, which supports the families of fallen police officers. Raymond was born March 5, 1939 in Vilnius, Lithuania, the son of Jonas and Brone Liaudanskis. He married Christine Kieltyka on May 22, 1965 at St. Anthony's Church in Detroit. Raymond was a U.S. Army Veteran and a proud Detroit Police Department retiree. In Raymond's younger years, he enjoyed camping and fishing. Most of all, Raymond loved spending time with his family.
Raymond is survived by: his wife of 56 years, Christine Landis; two children, Elizabeth (Raymond) Bryant of Holly and Jon Michael (Marilyn) Landis of Livonia; and his three grandchildren, Meghan, Callie, and Matthew. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents.
