Raymond Earl Bogart

January 16, 1915 — October 6, 2004

BOGART, Raymond Earl  Age 89, of Fenton, formerly of Ferndale and Gaines, died Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at the Pines of Lake Fenton. Services will be held 1 PM Saturday, October 9, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-9 PM Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Mr. Bogart was born January 16, 1915 in Bay City, the son of John C. and Margaretta L. (Carter) Bogart. He was a 1934 graduate of Central High School in Bay City. Mr. Bogart married Mary Magdalene Proper on January 24, 1936 in Detroit and she preceded him in death in 1997. He was a Tool and Die Maker in the Detroit area for many years. Mr. Bogart was a former member of the Durand Eagles and Fenton Moose Lodge and he has always been known as the guy with the funny suspenders. Surviving are: two daughters, Peggy and husband, Jim Graham of Birmingham, Barbara Collins of Linden; grandson, Jeffery Ouellette and wife, Christine of Redford; great-granddaughter, Andrea Ouellette; many nieces and nephews.
