BANASZAK, Raymond Michael - Age 69, of Davisburg, entered Eternal Life, Friday, February 4 , 2005 at his residence. Â Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, February 7, 2005 at the Davisburg United Methodist Church. Â Those desiring may make contributions to Doctors Without Borders of Covenant House. Â Mr. Banaszak was born January 2, 1936 in Detroit the son of Frank and Sophie Banaszak; he had resided in Davisburg since 1976 with his now deceased wife Sally Banaszak. Â He is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving in the Korean Conflict. Â He was married to Mary Jo Datema on April 2, 2004 in Royal Oak. Â HE retired from Ford Motor Company, Romeo Engine Plant. Â He was active in the Self Realization Fellowship, and was a past board member and active with the Swedenborgian Church in Royal Oak. Â Mr. Banaszak is survived by: wife, Mary Jo; 2 daughters, Stacy Rae and husband Richard Nelson of Clarkston, Becky and husband Gregory Young of Lansing; 4 grandchildren, Joseph, Mallory, Amanda and Justin; special niece, Susan and husband Kurtis Thomas of Royal Oak; and several nieces and nephews. Â He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sister; and Mary Jo's daughter, Rhonda Jaskolski, recently deceased. Â 'Ray lived his life with a beam of light and happiness that embraced all those around him. Â His generosity and concern for all those around him is an example for all of us to live by.'
