Rayburn E Dieck

DIECK Rayburn E   -  age 81, of Swartz Creek, passed away at home on Saturday, June 24, 2023. Friends and family will be gathering on Friday, June 30, 2023 from 2PM -8PM at Sharp Funeral Homes,  Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road,  Swartz Creek. Rayburn was born on December 11, 1941 to the late Frederick & Lillie Dieck in Owosso, Michigan. He graduated in 1960 from Swartz Creek High School. Not far after graduating high school, in 1962, he started his employment with General Motors and after 40 years he retired in 2002. Rayburn stayed a busy man by helping his brother by working on the family farm. His favorite task was driving the tractors. Rayburn will be missed dearly for being a great family-man. He adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren and always looked forward to Sunday dinners with family. He will forever be known for having a sweet tooth and hiding sweets on his plates. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Dieck; his three sons, Gary (Kathryn) Dieck, Rick (Theresa) Dieck and Ray (Linette) Dieck; two grandchildren, Josh (Ashley) Dieck and Kayla (Nick) Brookshire; seven great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Ella, Jack, Ava, Luke, Oliver and Easton; three siblings, Gerald (Jeanie) Dieck, David (Sandy) Dieck and Phil (Sally) Dieck; brothers-in-law, Donald (Shirley) Raymond, Richard Raymond, Robert (Sue) Raymond and Terry (Marcia) Raymond and sister-in-law, Linda Shaw. Rayburn is further survived by many other dear nieces, nephews and other family members too numerous to list. 

In addition to his parents, Rayburn was preceded in death by members on his wife's side of the family.
