Ray Hibbard

HIBBARD,  Ray  Age 72, of Fenton, went to be with his Lord after a long battle with cancer Friday, April 16, 2004 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, Rev. Jim Hibbard will officiate. Interment in Tyrone Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held 7-9 PM Sunday, 1-4 and 6-9 PM Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Ray Hibbard Memorial Fund. Mr. Hibbard was born September 15, 1931 in Clay County, KY, the son of Rutherford and Ida (Eversole) Hibbard. He had resided in the Fenton area since 1966. He married Edna Mae Lee on February 2, 1951 and she has preceded him in death July 5, 1998. He retired from G.M. Chevrolet Manufacturing and was a member of U.A.W. Local 659. Surviving are: 6 children, Bobby Hibbard and wife Laura of Las Vegas, Paul Hibbard of Flint, Rev. Jim Hibbard and wife Carolyn of Camden, MI, Vickie and husband Jim Needham of Burton, Tim Hibbard and wife Pauletta of Fenton, DeWayne Hibbard of Fenton; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Homer, Raleigh, and Ezra Hibbard, Biege Bowling; many nieces and nephews.
