Ray Gray

GRAY, Ray Wilbern - Age 83 of Swartz Creek , passed away March 27, 2021. A private family service will be held on March 30, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Swartz Creek, Michigan. Interment will take place at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery.

Ray was born February 6, 1938 in Steele, MO the son of Paul E. and Grace K. (Liles) Gray. He graduated from St. Michael's High School, Flint. After 3 years of proudly serving  in the US Marine Corps, Ray was honorably discharged. Ray married the love of his life G. Jeanette Hale in May of 1960.  He worked for GM V-8 Engine plant as a machine repairman and retired after 37 years of dedicated service. He was an avid woodworker and trap shooter Ray was a life member of NRA, Durand Sportsman Club and Armature Trap Shooting Association.

Ray is survived by his children, Tamara L. (Gary) Zingaro, Scott R. (Tammy) Gray; grandchildren, Ryan S. (Stephanie) Wenzel, Sean M. (Laura) Gray, Kyle A. Gray; great grand children Claire, George Wenzel; Niece, Chris Tomasino; nephew, David Cappella.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; sister, Elizabeth Ann (Carman, "Sam") Cappella
