Ravern Hittle

HITTLE, Ravern E. - age 90, of Swartz Creek, died June 15, 2022. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at West Flint Church of the Nazarene, 2254 S. Dye Rd., Flint, MI 48532 with Pastor Andrew Brashaw officiating. Interment will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. Contributions may be made to West Flint Church of the Nazarene Teen Program. Ravern was born September 1, 1931 in Kennett, MO, the daughter of Charles and Elsie (Sharp) Shepherd. She married Donald Hittle and he preceded her in death on March 21, 2011. Ravern retired from Flint Public Schools where she was a custodian for many years. She loved telling jokes, playing card, cooking and baking. Surviving are: two sons, Rickie (Kathy) Hittle and Rev. Stephen (Janice) Hittle; six grandchildren, Michael Hittle, Shaun (Rachel) Hittle, Ryan (Peter) Myers, Jason Hittle, Jeffrey (Janelle) Hittle, and Joshua Hittle; great-grandchildren, Lucy, Reese, Fuller, Piper, Beckett, Kamdyn, Karagan, Jaedyn, Connor and Noah; sister, Marge (Alfred) Waterson.
