Raquel A. Perez

Raquel A. Perez, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025, in Flint. Born on November 20, 1963, Raquel was a proud graduate of Carman High School and furthered her education at Ferris State University.

Raquel was a devout Catholic, having been a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. Her faith was a guiding force in her life, deeply influencing her values and the way she connected with others.

Throughout her life, Raquel embraced her interests with fervor. She had a love for traveling that allowed her to explore special places. Her passion for reading provided her with endless adventures. Additionally, she cherished the pleasure of enjoying the perfect iced tea. One of her fondest memories involved riding dirt bikes with her brother and cousins during her younger years, reflecting her adventurous spirit and joyful appreciation for life.

Raquel was a devoted mother to her daughter, Elizabeth (Mitchell) Revoir, and a loving grandmother to her granddaughter, Emmy Vanderpool. She also held dear relationships with her nephew, Daniel Perez, her niece, Kaitlin Perez, and her cousin, Suzie. Raquel's circle included special friends, Laurel and Sharon, along with many other loved ones, all of whom will miss her warm spirit and guiding hand.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernesto and Theresa Perez and her brother, David Perez

Raquel A. Perez will be remembered for her generous heart, her faith, and her ability to bring joy to those around her. Visitation will take place on April 16, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, MI 48473, where a Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 PM. A Scripture Service will be held at 6:00 PM with Deacon Michael Dear, officiating. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the National Kidney Foundation (https://nkfm.org/). Due to Holy Week a Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
