Ransom Brank

BRANK, Ransom Lee "Randy" - Age 68, of Mundy Twp., died September 9, 2017 after a hard fight with cancer due to Agent Orange. Funeral services will be held 12:30 PM Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Burial will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10-2 & 5-7 PM Tuesday with a memorial service at 7 PM under the auspices of V.F.W Post #822. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Ransom was born June 7, 1949 in Union, SC, the son of Daniel Boone and Amanda Adell (Sutton) Brank. He retired from the U.S. Army and was a member of V.F.W. Post #822. Randy enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his wife, Janet "Jan"; daughter, Tammy (Brian) Rhodes of Louisville, KY; step-son, Todd (Becky) Mattingly of Petoskey; step-daughter, Jill (Matt) Erksine of Lake Park, FL; grandchildren, Jonah Cash Mattingly and Seneca Brooklyn Mattingly; brothers, Ricky (Monica) Brank of Black River and Steve Brank of Flint; several nieces, nephews and many special friends.
