Randy Joe VanVEELEN

VanVEELEN, Randy Joe - age 58, of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, April 6, 2010 in Arkansas. Services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 1-4 and 6-9 PM Monday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family for a trust to be established for his children. Randy was born December 31, 1951 in Muskegon, the son of Henry and Judith (Lanphear) VanVeelen. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from General Motors as a supervisor. Randy was a member of the Swartz Creek American Legion and had been a Youth Athletics Coach in Swartz Creek for over 20 years. Surviving are: daughter, Angella and husband, Marty Borski of Las Vegas, NV; three sons, Ryan and wife, Cristiana VanVeelen of Tucson, AZ, Adam VanVeelen of Little Rock, AR, Austin VanVeelen of Swartz Creek; three grandchildren, Autumn and Andrew VanVeelen, Maximus Borski and one grandchild on the way; father, Henry VanVeelen of Zephyrhills, FL; two brothers, Eric VanVeelen and wife, Lynn of the Villages, FL, Jerry VanVeelen and wife, Nancy of Gaines; sister, Judith and husband Mark Hetzel of New Carlisle, OH; nieces and nephews also survive.
