GARLAND, Randall "Randy" Hugh - Age 60, of Lennon, died Sunday July 31, 2016. Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday August 5, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 2PM -8PM Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society. Mr. Garland was born June 29, 1956 in Flint the son of Hugh Edward and Virginia Lucille (Snow) Garland. He later married Marianne (Mater) Kalfs in Flint, on March 23, 2002. Randy enjoyed camping, boating, fishing, old cars and motorcycles. He retired from G.M. Metal Fab, Flint with 30 years of service. Surviving are: wife, Marianne Garland of Lennon; daughter, Holly (Christian) Bentley of Owosso; step-daughters, Julie (Blaine Hunt) Roberts of Clinton Twp., Suzie (Steve) Motter of Chesterfield, MI; 7 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; mother Virginia Lucille Snow of Beaverton, MI; father, Hugh Garland of Swartz Creek; brother, Mark (Shelly) Garland of Flushing;sister, Lori (Mark) Liberty of Flint; vacation buddies and sister, Linda (Michael) Molpus of Flint; many nieces and nephews. Randy was also survived by his pets, Oscar, Fluffy, Nellie and numerous camping friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Tobacco River Campground, where he spent 30 wonderful years surrounded by his family and friends.
