ROSEWARNE, Ralph Mowbray- Age 85, of Flint, died Sunday April 8, 2007 at his residence.  A Memorial Service will be held at 4:30 PM Thursday, April 12, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint.  Rev. Audrey Charlton officiating.  Ralph and his wife Andy, who also died on Easter 8 years prior, will be buried at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly on their anniversary date, September 7, 2007.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2:30 PM until time of service Thursday.  In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Avalon Hospice, 2360 Stone Bridge Dr., Flint, MI 48532 or East Grand Rapids Schools Foundation, 2915 Hall St. S.E., East Grand Rapids, MI  49505.  Ralph was born July 18, 1921 in Detroit, the son of William Henry and Ethel (Mowbray) Rosewarne.  He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII.  He married May "Andy" Anderson September 7, 1946 in Detroit and she preceded him in death April 4, 1999.  He retired in 1985 as Vice President of LaSalle Machine Tool after 20+ years of service.  He was a member of the V.F.W., American Legion and Elks Club.  He was also an avid golfer.  Surviving are:  2 children, Michael and wife Lynn Rosewarne of Swartz Creek, Marsha and husband Mark Tompkins of East Grand Rapids; 4 grandchildren, Dr. Jaime Lynn Rosewarne of Virginia Beach, VA, Benjamin, Madeline and Eleanor Tompkins of East Grand Rapids; sister, Madelaine Cochill of Allen Park.  He was also preceded in death by his parents and  brother, William Rosewarne.  The family wishes to extend a special thank you to, Avalon Hospice and the staff at McLaren Homewood Village.  Friends may share a online condolence or post a tribute at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
