Ralph Eugene NAVE

NAVE, Ralph Eugene, age 82, of Montrose, MI formerly of Anderson, IN, passed away Friday, January 21, 2011 at home. Funeral services will be 7:00PM Monday, January 24, 2011 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Home, 229 S. Rangeline Rd., Anderson, IN. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7PM Monday at the funeral home. Ralph was born June 4, 1928 in Anderson, IN the son of the late Donely and Hazel (Patterson) Nave. He married Mary Slater in Anderson on August 15, 1948. Ralph was employed as a Tool and Die Engineer by General Motors until his retirement in 1987. Ralph and Mary wintered in Davenport, Florida after retirement, and in 1999 moved there as full time residents until 2007. Ralph loved to travel and camp, and had visited every state except Hawaii, including Mexico and Canada. He was also a proud member of the Mt. Morriah Masons. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Mary; daughter, Anita Arnold (Danny) of Montrose; son, Robert Nave of Ft. Wayne; 4 grandchildren, Andrew Eastridge, Bethany Presswood, April Terry, Daniel Nave; 6 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his son, Gary Nave.
