Ralph Emery MIDDLETON

MIDDLETON, Ralph Emery - Age 86, of Flint Twp., died Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, January 11, 2010 at Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 5151 Lennon Rd., Flint. Rev. Jim Offrink will officiate. Visitation will be held 2-5 & 7-9 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to Trinity United Presbyterian Church. Ralph was born March 1, 1923 in Mt. Morris, the son of Ralph A. and Lillian (Freeman) Middleton. Mr. Middleton was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in WWII. He worked in CC Camps as a teenager and as a lumber jack in the Upper Peninsula. He retired from General Motors with many years of service. Surviving are: wife, Malvina; daughter, Kathleen Curtis of Flint; brother, Donald R. Middleton of Mt. Morris; grandsons, Eric Middleton, Scott Curtis and Daniel Curtis; daughter-in-law, Laurel Baxter of Flint; several nieces and nephews.
