HASKELL, Ralph Edward  Age 81, of Pontiac, formerly of Flint, died Thursday, October 06, 2005 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, October 8, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will be held at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 5-9 PM Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Haskell was born May 27, 1924 in Flint, the son of Ralph Howell and Christine Ann (Riser) Haskell. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Haskell retired from GM in 1985 where he was employed in Tool & Dye. He loved to travel anywhere including Alabama, Yellowstone and Alaska. Surviving are: two sons, Ralph W. (Dorothy) Haskell of Detroit, Allan A. (Jeannie) Haskell of Fenton; two grandsons, Brad A. Haskell and John A. (Heather) Roebuck, all of Lake Orion; two sisters, Audrey Clark and Lucille Baumgartner.
