GRUNEWALD, Ralph L. - age 81, of Fenton, died Monday, August 20, 2012 at St. Joseph Mercy, Ann Arbor. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday, August 24, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton with Rev. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd, Fenton with a scripture service at 7:30 PM. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, St. John - St. Vincent DePaul, St. John Outreach or St. John School.Ralph was born July 9, 1931 in Lincoln Park, MI, the son of Harold and Marjorie Grunewald. He married Barbara E. Oestman on May 7, 1960. Ralph was a veteran ofthe U.S. Army and retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
