Ralph Brenton BOSWORTH

BOSWORTH, Ralph Brenton - Age 88, of Swartz Creek, died Sunday, July 12, 2009 at his residence. Funeral service will be held 12PM Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Deacon Rod Amon officiating. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8PM Tuesday and Wednesday at the funeral home. A Vigil Service will be prayed Wednesday evening. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, c/o Loretta Metz. Ralph was born December 3, 1920 in Williamston, West Virginia, the son of Brenton and Ruth (Mills) Bosworth. Mr. Bosworth was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church and retired from BOC, Grand Blanc in 1975 after completing 35 years of service. Ralph was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during WWII and was a member of VFW Post #3087. Surviving are: 2 daughters, Loretta L. Metz of Swartz Creek and Pamela Bosworth of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Ralph Brenton III, Amber, David, Terry Felix, Pamela Bosworth; great-grandchildren, Casey and Jamie Felix; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Bosworth; and his very best friends, Patsy, Willie, Dick the Dog and Bob, Dick Freeman and wife Tammy, Dave Jory; and neighbors, Jim and Theresa. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Madeline; 3 sons, Ralph B. Bosworth Jr., Daniel Bosworth and William Bosworth; brother, Jack Bosworth; sister, Norma Jean Graves.
