BALL, Rachelle C. - Age 23, of Durand, died Friday, November 18, 2011 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, November 23 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be 4-9 PM Tuesday. Rachelle was a loving mother, sister, daughter, granddaughter and friend. She was outgoing, courageous, strong and a selfless individual. She always knew how to make you laugh when you wanted to cry. Her strength and determination got her through a three year battle that finally took her life. She will always be remembered for her smiling face and her outstanding sense of humor. Surviving are son, Julius; sisters, Sydney, Jessica and Samantha; mother, Denise; father, Randal; grandparents, Ronald and Raylene Ball and Carolynn McBride.
