GREENE, Rachel Elizabeth -- Age 69, of Flint Township, died April 20, 2010. Funeral Services will be 11 AM Saturday, April 24 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Mr. Rod Greene officiating. Interment in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation 5-8 PM Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Rachel Greene Memorial Fund. Rachel was born June 12, 1940 in Midland the daughter of Chesley and Geneva (Ortaway) Hawkins. She had resided in Flint most of her life. She married Harvey Glenn Greene October 24, 1959; he preceded her in death August 25, 1996. Surviving are: three children, Michael Dale Greene, Joyce Ann Olson, Bruce Glenn Greene, all of Flint; grandchildren, James, Stephanie, Rachel, Michelle, Heather, Lynn, Christina, and Kristine; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard, Jerry, Pete, and John Hawkins; several nieces and nephews.
